Excellent machine
An excellent machine, does exactly what it says on the tin. Fast, quiet and with 18.4 inches of real estate it's as good, if not better, than a desktop.
The downsides are minor, it's heavy and therefore referred to as a desktop replacement rather than a laptop. Also there is a lot of dross software installed - trial games etc. Acer provides a recovery partition - no disks at all. However it's easy to create recovery disks to use should the hard disk fail in the future. Although 5 stars given as a rating, lose half a star because of the dross software, so four and a half stars awarded.
Overall, very pleased with this machine and with Amazon for processing my order so speedily.

Incorrect header discription for Acer Aspire 8930 G
Come on AMAZON if you are going to sell laptops on here at least get the product discription right. On the header you state it has 3GB DDR RAM but in the product details further down the page it says 4GB DDR RAM.
4 GB DDR RAM is infact correct.
