brilliant easy to use, looks good too , it is a little heavy, it's very good value for money, plus the after sales support / customer service is really good as well

Good product but has some design flaws...
Okay, I bought this laptop on the 25th of April to replace my trusty Toshiba laptop. This laptop for the price is pretty good. I've played World of Warcraft on high settings and I range around 30fps, I can also play the sims 3 on high modes with no lag, crashes etc. Overall I am pleased with this laptop. My main gripes with this laptop are the keys, air vents and the track pad placement. I recentley got a RSI injury in my left hand so extended play is quite painful, this however is not helped by the fact the trackpad is centerd to the left instead of the middle so it puts the hand and wrist on an akward position. My advice is to get a laptop table and use a mouse (keeping in mind to take frequent breaks). The keys are made from a shiny plastic that catches any smudge/finger print. I've had to return my laptop recentley to acer to replace a broken enter key (only had it 2 months, so I'm not exactly pleased) and also a fault with the built in microphone not disabling itself when I used a normal headset mic. I was fobbed off by acer support with a "software problem". Now onto the air vents, due to the vents on the laptop being on the bottom/back of the laptop it can get very hot and overheat if say coverd by bed covers and can get quite hot to touch. Overall though it is a nice laptop for the price it just has a few design flaws. If you want a cheaper laptop that can handle casual gaming then give this a go.

Aspire 6930G
I don't usually review purchases, but to save any disappointment, I thought I should on this occasion.
This laptop is pretty good and I would recommend it, however, make sure that if you want a Blu-Ray player, you select the right specification on Amazon.
Even though in both cases, the model is a 6930G, there is a version of the 6930G with a Blu-Ray player and a version without. I discovered this after buying it and going on a number of forums to discover that this is a common mistake that people make.
The version I have also has no Bluetooth facility, although a USB dongle sorts this out (available separately).
When I tried to exchange it, Amazon would not accept a return because I had fired the machine up and entered my details into the system registry.
I soon realised though that I actually didn't have any true justification to have Blu-Ray in the first place. I suppose it was a "nice to have".
The machine is fast and has a nice large display, which may not suit everyone, particularly where portability is a key requirement or weight is important.
Other than the Bluetooth shortfall, it's connectivity makes it a very versatile machine, it just seems rather pointless that it sports a HDMI port with no complimenting optical Blu-Ray drive?
My star rating may not be as generous as it should be, because all in all, I like the machine. It looks good and it does a perfect job.
Just make sure you order the spec' you want.

Acer Aspire 6930G Laptop
I bought this laptop from Amazon after doing a price comparison via the internet and other high street electrical stores. The delivery from Amazon was timely and the laptop arrived very well packaged. No complaints there.
I was looking for an upgrade to my 3 year old Siemens laptop and this one ticked all the boxes. It is packed with features for the casual user or gamer. It has sufficient Hard Drive space and RAM for my family's purposes so should serve us well for the next few years.
The screen has a good resolution and it packs a punch on the sound card.
All-in-all I am (so far) delighted with my purchase and would recommend this good looking laptop (mine is in an attractive piano black)to any user who just want to take it out of the box and start using it.
Beware, Microsoft Office does not come as standard build and you will need to buy your licence.
