Avoid this product. Ordered one as a Christmas present. When it arrived found it wouldn't fit into power socket. The pins are slightly out of line. Ordered replacement - same problem. Both sent back for full refund. If you want a charger pay for quality and buy the apple one. Avoid this one please!

This item is now totally different to that reviewed by other buyers. Even the picture of the item was changed a few days after I bought one. The blue neon light referred to by one reviewer is now red, but the biggest problem is that the dock connector pins do not fit the iPod Nano properly and you are likely to damage the iPod pins which will invalidate your Apple warranty. You have been warned!

was very happy with this product came promt and worked for both my 3rd and 4th gen i pod was very happy charges my ipod to full from a flat battery in under 2hours

This charger is great, works fine with my shiny new pink nano 5g. I think I'll order another one for using at work. Many thanks.

I bought this charger as i'd already bought a similar from a different vendor for my own iPod classic and have had NO problems to date. However, this one lasted one day and wont charge at all my niece's nano. Luckily it wasn't expensive and i haven't tried to change it or anything as it's too much hassle for what it is. I know for others it has worked fine & i do know from my other one also - but my review is based on this particular charger and it shouldn't fail after one charge anyway. I'd say buy but be wary, it does seem a lottery whether you get a good or bad one....& buying shouldn't be a gamble.
