I am using a SanDisk Extreme III CompactFlash 8GB Memory Card, and together they are turning out superb photographs.
I cannot wait to get on holiday.

Incredible

Don't believe people saying that 14.7mp is too large for a sensor of this size, none of the shots feel like they've been crammed. Taking such massive photos even in superfine mode is very fast.

Davies on Jul 28, 2009 (UK)Judging by the other views I can only assume their is something wrong with mine .Yes it looks nice , its pocketable ,it's pretty and it takes not bad photos indoors . However , out doors it is woefull . I have seen just as good results from a throwaway camera .

This camera fulfils all our expectations - its size fits into pockets, bags or any small space easily. Also it fits comfortably into your hand, though it is necessary to use the wrist strap as it is very smooth.
The photo quality is excellent, professional in fact even for an amateur photographer. The price you pay for this is a photo that is a bit heavy on MB. The zoom is easy to use and close at hand.
The peep sight is somewhat small but you get used to it.
Altogether I could really recommend this gem for fast picture taking and for your more serious shots as well.

Excelent Camera shame about delivery

After a 10 days wait its finally here :) I opted for express delivery from ok-go however when it did'nt show up a week later i started to get concerned, turns out they ran out of stock.
Now the camera is here. Wow am i impressed for ages now i've been using my First and only digital camera an Ixus with 3.2 mega pixels back in the day and more recently my phone as well since it also has a 3.2 mega pixel camera. so the quality was ok on both, But even just playing about round the house the detail and quality of pictures is amazing and even in auto mode the pictures are excellent. its very easy to work and is similar to my old ixus but much better.
Design wise it is a fantastic shape. fits the hand nicely and is wonderfully small in comparison to my brother 10 mp Panason lumix. which is a good camera but which is massive in comparison, and is not as user friendly to use. Like all IXUX the quality is excelent and has an metal skin which gives it a feeling of quality many camera lack these days.
