I used to have a leather case for my iPOD when I first purchased it but, it REALLY irritated me. This case protects my iPOD brilliantly and I never need to remove it to plug it into any of the docking facilities I use. It's SO handy, well-made, does its job............ can't really say more. I'd recommend it to anyone and everyone!

(2 out of 5) by Gareth Cashmore on Jan 7, 2009Item does exactly what it says. its a heavy duty very secure cover, that fits the ipod very well with no movement at all. however, it is very very chunky and quite heavy. good for working on a building site, but will drag your trousers down otherwise. delivery was very fast, arrived the morning after ordering.

Unlike my previous silicone Ipod cover I can get the Ipod in and out in a trice as it opens like a book. I think the person who said it was heavy needs more time in the gym! Arrived in double quick time too!

The ipod classic is quite weighty in itself, the case makes no difference. It is very sturdy yet gives access to all the ipod's parts eg. click wheel, lock switch etc. I have had 4 previous cases for my ipod but none met all my requirements - I wanted a case that was easily removable when I want to use my ipod docking station speakers/radio thingy. I also wanted a case that had a clip for when I want to use headphones and that fitted into my car ipod holder. This covers all requirements. The case opens from the side to allow you to take your ipod out yet fastens securely when you put it back. It has a removable clip for when you want to 'pin' it to yourself. I LOVE this case!
