Truely amazing machine, well done acer!

this laptop is perfect.
from its styling, to in build quality, to its proformance.
the laptop itself is very fast given that it only have 3gb unlike 4 like most of the range, at the moment i have iTunes, Firefox (with 4tabs), MSN and its outputting through my HDTV (via hdmi) without any problems.
ive suffered no lag with it what so ever, and i even use the fingerprint scanner to log in (nice touch acer, stops my sister from using it to check her facebook)
at first i was going get get the model thats around £680 without blu-ray (as i already have two, ps3 and stand alone sony blu-ray player) but then read an article about how blu ray have won the format war with HD DVD and thought a blu ray would help make it future proof, as i believe in a few years, there will be no more DVD's.
although the webcam is only 0.3mp, its amazing, i sware its more then 0.3 its as good if not better then my 3.2mp microsoft webcam.
its almost silent when running, although sometimes after a long session the fan kicks in but the fan is still very quiet.
Also, another nice addition, the cinedash media console (the touchy bit at the side), you can be on msn chatting away, and a song comes on you dont want to listen to right now, push next on the touch panel and it will skip it without having to open iTunes or Windows media player at all.
1 last thing, that acer didnt mention, you can asign a task to each finger (e.g. right index finger to open your internet broswer, left middle finger t open iTunes) which is a nice use of the finger print scanner although its get hard, remembering which finger does what.

All in all a fantastic product. once again acer have won me over with there new line of laptops. ive had it almost a month, and ive not noticed a single thing that i would change. If you can afford it, buy it!
but buy this model, (with blu ray) not the slightly cheaper one without.

hope this helps
