super compact lounge sound system

(5 out of 5) by M. Merttens on Sep 5, 2008 (UK)
I bought one of these actually off the manufacturer's site as a sound system to replace the sound from my flatscreen TV. It was not too hard to set up, actually all the cables came with the unit but what a difference. This unit makes a movie soundtrack sound massive yet it's only one box below the TV, and the subwoofer that lives down the side of the sofa with a plant on top! Dialogue is clearer too, even at low volume. I have no idea what airsound is, but it works! Also really handy is the ipod dock that means the wife can play back tunes really easily, without a hifi. Great product, great sound, really impressed.

Good sound for a compact system

(5 out of 5) by D. Mahl on Dec 6, 2008 (London, UK)
Spent a bit of time looking for what I needed and decided to take a punt on the T12, it felt a bit risky but I'm glad I did as it sounds very good for a system that fits into the space available (I have the soundbar in front and below my telly and the subwoofer behind it on the floor). I've also dispensed with a hi-fi and so the Ipod dock makes it exactly what I need. It sounds great to my ears (I'd describe myself as a muso rather than an audiophile), though sometimes a little muffled at very low volumes. Customer support was also top notch (and the reason I'm writing this). The remote control I received stopped working after a couple of days - phoned them, they were polite and friendly and sent a new working one which I received the very next day!

Useful and enjoyable

(4 out of 5) by J. Tindall on Feb 1, 2009 (London, UK)
I have had this product for a few months. I have had a lifetime of dabbling with hi-fi products but was in the market for something unobtrusive and yet decent quality. I have placed the sound bar to the front and beneath my flatscreen TV and the bass box behind the TV out of sight and quite near the wall. This means that I have to tune down the bass each time I turn on since it sounds too heavy. I also find that the remote control doesn't always make the unit respond right away and it's not easy to detect visually whether the remote is doing anything at all (a faint blue light flashes behind the grill). Having said that, I am pleased with this unit. The sound is good and gives a good and natural account of itself on films. I also use it for my iPod music and it's excellent. I don't miss "true stereo" since the sound seems to fill the living room quite well.

orbitsound T12

(5 out of 5) by Martin J. Sampson on May 12, 2009 (Reading UK)
I purchased the soundbar directly from the manufacture and collected it in person. The people I dealt with were helpful and informative, and the soundbar has fully achieved my expectations. I am hard of hearing and the sound produced by T12 has revolutionised my TV listening experience. I love this product, my only critisizam is the remote control which I find to small and sometimes you need to push the buttons more than once to make it work. This is a small niggle from an otherwise great product, I have already recommended it to a colleague who has also purchased one
