Sony NWZ-E436FB 4GB

(3 out of 5) by Jamesy on Mar 1, 2009
I bought it at a great discount price. Battery life excellent. Sound quality very good. Navigation easy and precise.
Already own Creative Zen Stone and I River Mp3's.
The sony is better than the Zen Stone but does not have the same facility as the I River for repeating same song and playing a certain phrase of music only.
The Sony can't speed up as in fast forward it just skips to the next track.
The Sony is much more compact than the I River although my I River is around 4 years old now.
Over all I would recommend the Sony as it is very practical with good sound quality but to be honest it was the special offer price which made up my mind to buy this specific product although I am very pleased with it and am glad I bought it.
I would advise you to check out the latest I River for replay features before making a purchase.

Well impressed!

(5 out of 5) by K. Webster on Dec 31, 2008 (St Albans)
Stone me, this is neat! Downloaded Wallace and Gromit from iplayer. Just like watching telly only smaller. Thats my only problem. I dont need glasses to watch telly but I do for this. (Not unexpected!) Quality of video and audio is perfect - even an old git can work it out without instruction manual (I'll read it later in case I've missed things it can do). Best to use Windows explorer to copy stuff to it as the 'Media Mangler' supplied is slower and can't see my iplayer downloads, even though I've told it the directory to look at.
Anyway, off to work out what a playlist is - and probably read the manual! haha 9.9 out of 10

Great buy

(5 out of 5) by A. Riding on Jan 5, 2009
I bought this product to replace my Creative Zen Neeon that I lost. Its an excellent all round mp3 player - looks nice, sounds good even with bundled headphones and easy to use. Very simple to load music onto and has really good battery life. Has the function to store photos and video too, but dont really need this feature. Would definitely recommend it.

Sony NWZ-E436FB 4GB Drag & Drop MP4 Video Player with FM Tuner in Black

Very easy to use. Excellent sound quality. Very small and lightweight. FM Radio is a nice touch. 4GB is plenty to store your best tunes- I have 800 on it so far and there is still some space. Prefer this to Ipod nano. Only drawback I have found is that the bundled headphones are uncomfortable after a while, but plenty options on the market. Use Windows Media Player to sync with no issues. Would buy again.
