(5 out of 5) by Geoffrey Holmes on Sep 23, 2009Excellent camera great pics handles well, forget the carping over size and handgrips, its not a problem. The ability of being able to use the veiwfinder is worth its weight in gold, no more missed shots just aim and shoot.
So the screen only has 115000 pixels, so what? you only use it to review the shot for which purpose its perfectly adequate.

quite a nice little camera
(5 out of 5) by Odette Faulkner on Aug 28, 2009We had to replace our Canon A75 which packed up during our holidays. The A1000IS is much smaller, but packs a lot of functions. However, it is very easy to use and the instructions are very clear. I would recommend it to anyone.
