The scanner installed first time using Vista and works exceedingly well, I have no problem with recommending it to anyone who wants a very good Scanner at a very reasonable price.

Also it takes up very little room compared to my earlier Scanner, thanks to Canon for a really good product.

I disposed of my failing noisy scanner that weighed more than my laptop and decided on something slimmer and ultimately portable. The reviews of this item led me to buy it (8 5*, 2 4*), and it has proved worthy. The software was easy to scan, it runs off the USB cable, and is swift. Preferences are easy to change, and so far it has been enjoyable to use.

Delivery was on the day following order. The scanner is compact and satisfies all my requirements. The PhotoStudio software can enhace photographs to the point where the scanned photo is better than the original. Very pleased
