replace my 3 in 1 printer

(4 out of 5) by Trevor A. Heath on May 24, 2009
I went on-line to check out 3 in 1 printers and after going thorough all the printers I decided to buy the Canon PIXMA MP190 as I have allways bought Canon products, Cameras,Lenes,Scaners and a Canon PIXMA IP5000 which I found very good and easy to use. My previous all in one was a EPSON CX 3200 which i had for five years before it finally packed up. The PIXMA MP190 I got was a lot quieter than the EPSON and seamed to be a bit slower, but I think that it is just as quick, the scanning is good and the photo printing even on normal paper was I think very good. When I got my first Camera at 11 years of age I always wanted a Canon camera.
I have bought six products via Amazon and I found that the delivery times and dates they promised was spot on, I received everything on or before the date stated and will continue to buy thorouh Amazon as I have found that what I wanted was generally a lower price than anywere else.

Excellent Purchase

(5 out of 5) by E. Elliott on Apr 20, 2009 (UK)
This is an excellent printer for the price. The 3 in 1 capabilities of this printer all work well and it's not too bulky as a result. Easy to set up and print quality good.

Good value for money printer, plenty of print options and good quality, only negative really is the time it sometimes takes to print, bit slow to get going sometimes!

First one broke down within a month of receipt

(1 out of 5) by Persian cat fan on Jul 24, 2009 (London)
Easy to install and very easy to use, BUT first one broke down within one month of receipt!!! Had error message saying paper jam, which is wasn't, had to call help centre and would have had to pay for return to be fixed. I could return as so new to retailer who sold me item (Amazon), who sent a replacement (I did think may have been better to press for refund as requested -- time will tell if this one breaks down quickly!!!). The first one had only been used a few times!!! Shame as looks good and so easy to use. Good printing and copying.

If at first!

(4 out of 5) by Michael Lyons on Jul 7, 2009 (England)
Got one for myself to replace an Epson R220, ink is so much cheaper but doesn't quire go as far, but a definate improvement. It scans in less then 20 seconds. All the applications are easy to use and easy instructions to follow. Software is loaded with ease no problems there. It's a very easy scanner/printer to use with great results either documents or photos. Bought a second one for a friend but it sounded like a steam engine when she plugged it in, I told Amazon and a replacement turned up within HOURS got the shock of my life so five ***** for that. She plugged that in and didn't have to re-install the software it worked first time, no problems at all. You can get ink for £9 and £11 from Amazon. This really is a worthwhile piece of kit. I fully recommend this MP190.
