Canon MP190
This like all canon printer does a great job. I bought this to replace my canon MP160 as for some reason it stopped passing the paper through. Anyway i dont feel that this model does quite as good a job on the photo printing as the older model but its still good. Ordinary printing and scanning etc are top notch as always. Go for it!!!

New to Canon printers
As a previous EPSON printer owner, I was dissapointed with my last puchase, so surfed the web for alternatives. This one caught my attention as a combined unit, as my old scanner was almost life expired as well. Disappointed that it uses a single colour cartridge, rather than separates, a fact not immediately obvious from the Amazon web site. Could be costly and lead to waste if you print a lot of colour materiel.
Easy to install and set up though; up and running in half an hour. That's assuming that you have a spare USB cable, which is not supplied as opposed to my now defunct EPSON...... Without that, I would have been stuck and forced to buy one locally - time and money.

Very good low cost 3-in-1 printer
Although reliable, I replaced a Lexmark X4580 because of the increasingly Very expensive/difficult to get hold of cartridges.
I thought about the new Kodak but it seems to get very poor reviews (not just from this site). This MP190 gets very good reviews so I thought I'd try a Canon after two Lexmarks.
Very easy to setup and makes no more noise than the Lexmark. Too early to confirm but by my calculations the cheaper original cartridges (about £13 versus £25)with the same print yield should save me more than the cost of the printer in 6 months. Yes I know £13 is still pricey but not compared to the Lexmark. I am then saving every month.

Good offer!
I am printing only a few times a week, therefore the printer is perfect. Good price offer, cartridges not too expensive and it can print, scan and copy. One disadvantage - it's big and a bit noisy and not the quickest but totally sufficient for its money, I think.

good all in one
this is my first all ine one printer and its so far been a joy to use. the prints are ok, altho it takes a while to warm up scanning speeds were fast and images were great. a very good all ine one printer for inexpensive price. another downside is it has no pictbridge.
