My new printer

(5 out of 5) by Margaret Tibby on Jul 11, 2009 (UK)
The Canon Pixma MP540 gives me everything I want in an all in one.
It is quiet, compact, very easy to install and produces very good photos. All round, good value for money.

Cannon Pixma MP540

(5 out of 5) by D. Prime on Jun 10, 2009 (West Yorkshire, England)
This is my second cannon printer, the first one being just a printer & not a scanner & printer. This one is fantastic, better than my first one, which was also good, it prints brilliantly & copying couldn't be easier, the only downside is that it can be a bit slow, compared to my old one. Its great that when a colour runs out you only have to change that one colour not all of them, so there's no wastage. I would definitely recommend cannon again & again, especially the ones with the individual ink tanks.

Canon PIXMA MP540 Printer

(5 out of 5) by Mrs. T. L. Forster on Jun 9, 2009
This is an amazing printer. I bought one yesterday after having spent two days trying to install an Epson printer and finally gave up and took it back. This was the alternative. The installation was basic, the instruction manual is basic (but informative) but the printer is anything but basic, it's out of this world. I tested everything on it from a basic 1 page word document, scanning, copying and then printing a photo from the memory card in my camera. The only thing I wasn't pleased about, and it is minor, is that it did not come with it's own USB cable. If you buy one, and you must, ensure you have a printer USB cable handy. I am being truly honest when I say that a photography shop could not reproduce the photos in any better quality than what this printer can.

Great multifunction printer

(5 out of 5) by Hmm interesting... on Jun 2, 2009 (Manchester, UK)
I bought a HP multifunction printer a couple of years ago for around £200 - it did everything ok for a while, then only printed sporadically, so Im hoping this Canon MF printer will be more reliable. On first impressions though it seems well built, looks good and all the trays, screen etc fold away neatly. The startup time is pretty quick and the print quality is really good. The scan and photocopy times are both pretty quick as well. Overall Im really impressed and would recommend the product to anyone, especially for the price. You can probably get better print quality from a dedicated printer of a similar price, but for all-round quality and funtionality this is a great piece of kit.

Canon Pixma Printer

(4 out of 5) by Peter on May 26, 2009 (UK)
Have had the printer a few weeks now and am very happy with it. The underneath paper storage makes it very neat and compact and the screen for viewing scanned images etc is useful and easy to use.
