great price great quality

Could have been perfect if..

I really wanted another Canon, and had also decided to go for an all in one. I saw this and at first glance, it seemed the perfect replacement, then I spotted no mention of a CD printer. So it looks like Im having to choose another make as the 620 costs more than I wanted to pay

Like some other reviewers I had trouble with the scanner but once I used the Canon MP Navigator software it was perfect. This works on both my Apple Macs which both have airport/WiFi. Well worth buying, in fact I bought my girlfriend one as well!
Pixma MP540 - early impressions

Apart from a glitch on day 1 when it would not run the head alignment routine - (it was saying there was no paper loaded when there was!) it has performed admirably, but it is still early days.
Particularly like the design, the superb controls, loads of great software, and the 5 individual ink tanks. Amazing value for only £80!
On negative side, it can seem a bit slow sometimes when operating.
