Decent alround printer
(4 out of 5) by Richard Dale on Feb 7, 2009On the whole very impressed very good photo quality printing and the scanning software is excellent for the mac. Black and White print on standard a4 paper is ok but not amazing.
Just one final point just take care when inserting the cartridges they are very easy to insert incorrectlty even when the printer lights indicate that you have inserted them correctly push them very firmly into position.

Excellent Printer!

Decided to upgrade to this Canon MP620. Setup on Wireless Network was really easy. Canon Network Utility found my Wireless network. Entered the WEP key for network, settings applied to Printer. Printer was up and running on my wireless network within 10 minutes. Excellent printer, high quality prints on photo paper, would highly recommend.

GREAT PRINTER, JUST DONT BUY IT FROM "OfficeEtc"

I wasted a week waiting for them to confirm that they've dispatched it and processed my order. Yet I haven't heard squat all from them even until this day, 11 days later.
I've emailed them many times to ask them if my printer will be shipped any time soon - no reply
I told them to cancel the transaction and refund me - no reply.
I lost patients and bought it from another website.
So do NOT buy this printer from OfficeEtc unless you dont mind waiting at least a week for them to even ship it out to you. Therefore, it is advised that you don't waste money on next day delivery if you DO decide to buy from them.

Canon PIXMAR MP620 printer
(5 out of 5) by G. C. Bond on Feb 5, 2009This is an excellent printer with an easy to use software package, particularly for printing photographs, which was the main reason for purchase. Reproduction is excellent and whilst not particularly fast for colour photos is extremely impressive for black and white documents.

Beware of Inks
(3 out of 5) by Jafp Milman on Jul 2, 2009 (UK)I have just dispensed with a two year old PIXMA- it printed fairly well, but the Canon inks are very disappointing. Photographs taken less than two years ago and displayed, but not in the sun, have faded to a noticeable degree - perhaps 50%.
I cannot rate the printer but the inks score zero.
