Decided to get something different after my HP died after years of photos and work related projects sent it to the great printer heaven in the sky. Ive just got back into proper SLR photography so I needed something good that can print my photos to a high quality and yet if i need to print say a CV or a letter etc i can. I took a wild stab with this one as i was swayed by some other models at a similar price. Well it arrived the other day and to say I am impressed is an understatment. I like the sturdy build and the numerous card slots and pic bridge port. I like that photocard is put into position and fed from the top of the machine to the out tray in the front and paper for letters etc are fed up to the machine via a hidden tray under the base. The LCD screen is clear and the tools and functions are nice and easy to use via the scroll wheel. But what I really like is the speed of the thing. Choose, click and within seconds a photo is ready for your viewing. cant fault it....i have tried. Ok when a photo is spat out and finished its a little tricky to pick up from the tray...see i told you stupid...nothing wrong with this canon atall.Whether its photos, esseys or copies and if you print from computer pic bridge or sd card you wont be dissopointed.Essential stuff.

Absolute magic !!! I upgraded from an old, still good but becoming more unreliable each week, iP4000. The scan on this machine is FAST, I mean really !, the copying is so good you cannot tell from original, and the photographic quality is out of this world. PLus -- I've give this printer a bit of stick over the past few weeks and the inks are still half full. I would recommend this to anyone.

cannot fault it in any way, brilliant, if you are after a new printer ,look no further.Ink a bit pricey but you expect to pay extra for excellence

Bought this as a replacement for my old Lexmark printer scanner and the difference is massive. The photo quality is exellent and the print times for both documents and photo's is twice as quick as the Lexmark. Be warned though it is quite a large piece of kit so make sure you have enough space !

So far this has proved to be the ideal all in one so easy to operate even the wife has managed it well worth the money
