Shocking Software Drivers That Won`t Install

(2 out of 5) by gadget geek on May 17, 2009 (Leeds,UK)
Well, i have tried everything to get this printer set up.

I am running vista 32 bit, downloaded the correct drivers from Epson etc but they just wont install. Spent over 2hrs so far today trying. All other software applications install ok, but with no drivers, the machine wont work or even recognise in my printer folder in the control panel.

Anyone got any ideas before the nearest window see`s the end of this printer? Epson did nothing to help me that was productive.

An excellent printer especially when you think its cheaper to buy this than replacment inks for older printers. Easy to use and good quality prints of all sorts.

Epson Office BX300F

(2 out of 5) by Mr. K. Willis on Jun 17, 2009 (UK)
This all-in-one printer looks very good and sits against the wall with all requirements accessed from its front. Print speed is slow, not what it is advertised at. Quality of the Printouts is good and as usual Epson have a very good OCR packaged in with it. (ABBEY fineprint) which gives a good document copy to save.

Poor service from Epson

(1 out of 5) by T. G. Barry on Oct 31, 2009
When unpacked the printer failed to work. The installations instructions were very unclear and it was necessary to call Epson support. The number was not easy to find and had changed from that given in the very, very poor documentation. There was an error message displayed which referred to the user documentation. Unfortunately the message appeared nowhere in that documentation and the 'help' person didn't know what it meant. The call to Epson was expensive as it was not a geographic number and hence not in most inclusive call packages. The 'help' person was not at all helpful and after slowly dragging him through the process he announced that the printer was faulty and should be returned. Amazon could not have been more helpful. I returned the printer by post and received an immediate full refund. Amazon - 10 out ot 10. Epson - 0 out of 10.
