Logitech DVS System - Simply FANTASTIC
(5 out of 5) by The Speedster on Dec 10, 2008 (United Kingdom)I was looking for an easy to use home security system as I work away from home alot and my wife is left at home on our own with our child. She was looking for peace of mind, both in/out the house, and after alot of investigating I purchased the Logitech DVS system. I opted for the outdoor mastersystem and an indoor addon unit, it was up and running in 15mins thanks to the Homeplug technology - so simple!. Also it is very simple to use thanks to the software which is uploaded onto your PC - even the wife can operate the system without any issues. Another cool feature is when Im away with work Im able to log on to the internet with my work laptop and access my cameras via a website which allows me to see my young son FANTASTIC. Summary - really good system that is really easy but still has some cool features. Im considering another camera for our back garden already!!!

No hassle solution to secure your home
(5 out of 5) by Michael on Dec 6, 2008After a burglary in my house, I drastically improved the security around my property. Firstly, I got a dog, Bonnie, who is probably most effective in scaring away any trespassers around my house.
I also installed a 4 camera security system. I have an older house and did not want to run any wires. This system is great because it is based on Powerline networking so you do not have to run any wiring in the house. Just installing the software on your laptop and plug in the camera.
The system catches each movement around the house and saves it as little files on the PC. The software has a good user interface and is easy to use.
On holidays, I enable the email alerts so in case of all cases, I will get an email when somebody enters the house. I have heard about several security solutions but I think this system is the easiest to install and the easiest to work with. I have now 3 outdoor and 1 indoor camera constantly monitoring my house, discretely but surely. The outdoor cameras are weatherproof and have now withstand the test of time pretty well.
I can monitor my cameras from any internet PC or my HTC cell phone.
