You can't expect something bad from Sony. I was looking for something much cheaper than ipods, and I tried some non branded cheaper ones before buying this, but returned all of them. And eventually bought this one, and I am really enjoying this player. Very easy to use with drag and drop feature.
Sony Walkman NWZ-B135L 2GB MP3
Torn between an i-pod or an MP3 and not really knowing how to decide, I decided to fork out £20 to keep me going until I could decide. This got me a memory stick with headphones. In the event, the several hundred tracks that I put onto it before it protested will keep me happy for a while. The device is clearly not cutting-edge and will win no cred points from techophiles, but it is very easy to use (certainly compared to a previous Sony MP3 I had) and does what it says on the tin.

And now for a review from someone who isn't over sixty...
Looks aside (for which I give it one star), unfortunately this player has the most weedy sound output I have ever come across in an MP3 device. If you are on the bus/train /tube (escpecially the latter) you simply can't hear a thing. It is seemingly designed for people who like to sit in a darkened room and gently massage their ears before bed in the evening, which is all well and good, but makes it practically useless in daily life. Especially naff if you live anywhere with any background noise whatsoever, like London, or want to listen to anything reasonably subtle, since the autmoatic EQ deadens everything so much you may need an ear trumpet yourself. This is the first poor Sony product I have purchased, so I won't blacklist them quite yet; maybe a more expensive model would do the trick. But alas, the message for this little player is Avoid At All Costs - unless, it seems, you are drawing your pension.

Perfect for Jogging
Great sound, light to carry and very stylish. (esp. for the price I paid) Strange shuffle system though - when I turn it off it always starts from the beginning of the song collection and not from where I left on when I last used it.
Really Good
Grelly good for what it is. SOme things I like include:
It can cope with tracks longer than 60 minutes which my old one couldn't. It remembers what track you were on and how far through after being charged.
The cap actually clips on wont fall off accidently.
There is a progress bar.
I'm comparing this to my last one which is now 2 years old and looking back on it really kinda crap.
You can get 2GB players for less but I think I'm going to get what I paid for with this.
I haven't used the voice recoring facility. Does anyone use that?
