Excellent player. Easily upgradable out of the box by connecting to home network. Menus are really friendly. great little blue LED on the front when you play a native Blu Ray DVD. Upscaling looks good too. Remote is easy to use.

Great price from Amazon again i could not find this anywhere for the price that i paid for this player. Once i placed my order it arrived a few days later easy to set up picture great i am very happy with this. Nice slim design does not take up loads of room bought for the bedroom, great little player.

Fantastic price for a fantastic product. Playing the first 3 blu rays on it was simply jaw dropping (I am Legend, Dark Knight, Pans Labyrinth). I think that the only way to describe the experience is to compare it to when i went from video to DVD back in 2000. Going right up close to the screen there are practically no "blocky" bits and from my couch (about 8 feet away) you can clearly see sweat on jokers face, etc. Not tried upscaling any normal dvds yet which is also apparently very impressive (i only got it last night and watched 3 blu rays but bed was calling!!!).

Setting the machine up is simple, presumably if you have bought a blu ray you will be using HDMI/Component in which case its plug the machine into the wall and plug the HDMI/Component into telly. I cant comment on the setting up or quality of surround sound yet as i have not yet set up my surround system but i do not expect to be dissapointed.

I would highly recommend this player for a first step into blu ray.

first of all can i say how good amazon were,i ordered it pm and recieved it am next day BRILLIANT.i checked a lot of reviews before i purchased the player and they were very good so i took the plunge.you will not find a better player for the price.the picture quality of the bluray discs is stunning and even normal dvds are improved aswell.its start up time is quick and it is very easy to setup,i would reccomend this product.

For the price this must be the best Blu-ray player on the market. It performs superbly and upscales my non Blu-ray discs to a higher level of quality. Would recommend this to anyone on a budget.
