excellent bridge

(5 out of 5) by Adam Wignall on May 27, 2009 (UK)
Ordered it on a friday. Used the free delivery and it arrived on the tuesday despite the fact that it was a bank holiday weekend. excellent service all round

As for the camera..... WOW. simply amazed. You can see what Its capable of from what others have said in the review. The main things il add are that the images i shot when the camera arrived (i took over 250) came out great. The only times images came out bad was due to my error and using the wrong settings. The images needed practically no post processing as well. The colours are very accurate and this camera can be used in almost any situation.

I recommend you go to a site like flickr and search for images taken with this camera to really see what its capable off. I am very impressed.

Luv my Panny

Panasonic DMCFZ28 Digital Camera - Silver (10.1MP, 18x Optical Zoom) 2.7" LCD
Well Im friends with the Panny and it is an amazing piece of technology. The photographs are stunning but take plenty using camera options! I usually find some are bad and some are good so one ends up with at least a few ace photos!
Video in Hd is excellent but sound is not good but it is a handy extra.
Mine had a modification to sound, in the instructions but dont know what panasonic have done but not a lot!!
The features are brilliant and photographs seem very natural and crisp.
The HD cover seems to open when you catch it and I am going to tape mine shut so I dont snap it off.
I have put a few pics on the site so hope this gives yu some idea but I am a nurd at all tech things so just hope yu get the idea of just how good this bit of kit is.
Amazon price for silver version is well worth every penny!

Review after use in New Zealand

(5 out of 5) by Mr. P. H. Potter on Feb 15, 2009 (England)
I used this camera extensively in New Zealand at a wedding and on site seeing and got some spectacular results on landsape, potraits and general views. I would recommend this camera for any general use

Panasonic DMCFZ28

(5 out of 5) by Tricky 123 on Jul 21, 2009 (UK)
This is an amazing camera that sits between your snappy camera and a full blown SLR (both of which I have). Have taken some outstanding pictures with it which easily rival some of the photos taken on the big SLR. Its easy to use and understand all the features that it offers. Would highly recommend it for those that are 'scared' by SLRs and the expense of going down that route. EXCELLENT!

Fantastic Camera. Superb results as good as a DSLR

(5 out of 5) by Hermes on Jul 2, 2009 (Kent. UK)
I have only just got this camera and one word for it FANTASTIC. So many options to set and take your photos with. You have loads of auto settings for every possible shot and of course Shutter and Aperture settings to play around with.

OK its not a full blown DSLR but I have a Sony A300 and this Panasonic holds it's own against that. Light and easy to carry and with a very good 18x zoom which I have used many times with impressive results.

The image stablisation is great on full zoom with no issues. Do get a quality SD card for fast transfer rate and a screen protector and you will not be disappointed with this camera. I may not even use my Sony DSLR so much now that I have this!!

Check my image of the Apes taken at full 18x zoom.
