A mixed bag
Great or not!. I bought this to replace my plain silicone case as i thought it would give me the same feel but with better protection. The style of the case is very good, This case will not come off the iphone on its own unlike some cases as the fit is very secure, It feels a good construction and should take normal bumps with ease. My only gripe is that the black part of the case i thought would be made of a silicone type rubber to give it a nice secure feel but this is not the case, It is made of a more plastic feeling non rubber material, If my old case was on my phone it would not come out of my pocket even if i was running for a bus or if it was on my car dashboard it would not move about but with this case i would not be so sure, Silicone would win over this easy due to its very grippy rubbery feel. My verdict is.... Protection 5*. Style + looks 4*. Supplied accessories 4*. In hand grip 2*. If you need a case to give protection for day to day knocks and bumps go get this but if you want it to stay in your pocket while running for the bus get silicone. My silicone case is in the drawer for now!!!

Good but a few flaws
I've had this for a few weeks now and while I like the look and feel of the case it is by no means perfect.
The case works by having a soft 'inner shell' with a hard spine that protects the back and top of the iphone.
You also get a screen protector, a stand and a dock adaptor for the case.
Pros
- Feels solid and the case feels like it would survive being dropped. If protection is your main aim this is a big plus.
- Can still access all the buttons on the phone easily
- I like the look of it
Cons
- The hole for the headphone jack could be wider. My headphones will only fit in at a certain angle. If you are using apple standard headphones you'll be fine - but if the plug on your headphones is wider you may be unable to connect them in.
- I use the B&W Zeppelin speaker system - with the case on I am unable to dock onto this. Have not tried on any other systems.
- The soft case at the base of the phone is starting to get a little loose - I fear it may start sagging.

Amazing!
I purchased this case in October 2008 a few days be for I got my iPhone 3G, as soon as I got the iPhone it went straight in to the case and it hasn't come off. it is the best case I have seen around for the price and it comes with so many accessories as well. the case has well protected my iPhone as I have managed to drop it twice on to hard wood floors and there is not a scratch on the case or phone, I am now getting a new Capsule Rebel case only because I want a new colour. even my friend is getting one as he loves mine. All in all I would recommend this case to anyone who wants style and protection for there iPhone!

Quality Case
This is a great case that fits well and provides all the protection you could ever need. The only issue I have with it is that not everyone thinks the colour is quite a cool as I do......
But I love it.
But I love it.

Great iPhone 3G/S case for someone who doesn't need to remove it too often
I got Capsule Rebels to both my iPhone 3GS (olive) and my wife's 3G (white) recently and couldn't been happier. These are great cases, offering good protection (it seems, haven't had a chance to really test them - knock on wood), feel great in ones hand (they don't get as cold as iPhone's hard plactic back when temperature drops) adding much needed grip without adding too much bulk, and look good which of course is subjective.
Covered buttons, volume rocker and sleep/wake button are still very much usable, and the silent/ringer -switch is bit harder to get than with a bare iPhone which is all good news to me at least. Included dock connector cover is fine addition, but for some reason they (SwithcEasy) left out a headphone cover, maybe thinking this device is mostly used with headphones connected (in my case this holds true). Speaker and microphone work as they should with or without the dock connector plug.
All around quality of this product is great, fit and finish is perfect unlike in some $ 2 cases I've observed.
The package includes two screen shields per unit. I noticed that the shield I put on the 3G has somewhat oily appearance when screen is dimmed, this can't be seen when using the iPhone though so its only (very) minor cosmetic flaw. I didn't put screen shield to the 3GS, not yet at least, because I like to see how the oleophobic coating holds. I've no doubts how ever that the oily appearance would be iPhone 3G only "feature".
One could always get some 3rd party screen protector if the oilines bothers too much, just try it first - it really isn't as bad as it sounds.
Included accessories, dock adapter and movie stand (iPhone stably sits in this only when mounted horizontally) are welcome additions. The movies stand can't support iPhone vertically, a little bit of added bulk would've fixed this but the stand wouldn't be so pocketable anymore I suppose. One could put a piece of two sided tape under the stand to use iPhone in vertical mode though. Can't say much about the dock adapter, since we don't have any iPod/iPhone docks in the house.
The silicone part of white version is somewhat prone to show dirt on it (we both are gardener in profession, so this got really tested), more so than the olive one. Nothing serious though, just remove and wash with warm water if need arises.
One negative thing I have to say about SwitchEasy Capsule Rebels is that they probably are not a right choice for a user who needs or wants to remove their iPhone from case regularly. Silicone part can be easy to tear when removing the spine, especially in the bottom part where spine wraps around the corners. I managed to tear mine just a little. Certainly nothing that shows when the case is fully on, but I would be hesitant to start taking the case off and on all the time. Fortunately I don't need or want to do this, so it's pretty much a non issue for me. Could be a problem with owners of car kits and such that hold only bare iPhones.
