False advertising

I nearly fell for this myself and am warning others looking for freefall drives likely to be misled by this listing.

Works with the PS3

Huge general performance boost for a laptop.

I would say that my general feeling is that this hard drive is twice as fast as the stock 5400 RPM drive.
Not only is it faster and has a larger capacity, but it is quiet as well. There is almost no noise difference between when this drive is idle and when it is fully operational.
There decrease in battery duration is marginal, I haven't measured it exactly but my feeling is that is about the same as the stock drive.
Overall I am really impressed with this drive and I warmly recommend it to anyone who is fed up with slugish laptop drive performance.

Nice upgrade for PS3
(5 out of 5) by R. Patel on Dec 22, 2008 (Texas)I brought this for my laptop, but then instead upgraded my PS3. It was a doddle to install and also my download times seem to be faster. I noticed the install of DMC4 was quicker as well compared to the stock drive. Overall, a good purchase, I found you only get 260+ gb out of the 293gb possible.
It is a touch noiser as well, but you still can't notice it.
