it has great quality sound, bass, good hifi for dance and house music, the bass is so good you can feel it in the floors, the display on the front is like you get in a car, the speed monitor pointer moves to the beat of the music, the volume dial in the middle has a red light equalizer that moves to the beat too, it fades on and off when you turn it off, very cool. the hifi has all the connections you need to hook it up to a ipod (audio in and audio out red and white) the black casing is very sleek looking, only downside is the tape player is on top of the hifi which is kind of unusual but it doesn't matter because i don't use tapes anymore.

it has the option to record from any source which includes tape, cd, mp3 player, it has ports for karaoke so you can hook a microphone if you wanted to.

setting up was a bit complicated as it took me 20 minutes to find out how to set the time, but got there eventually, everything else like putting the speakers up and connecting everything was easy.

overall i would give this 10/10 it's a great quality music system. :)

I have had this product for a while now, and just thought i'd have a look at what the users of amazon felt about this excellent peice of tech. But the thing was that no one had made a review which i found shocking so i decided on writing one myself. The reason for the title is because the speakers are so: Powerful, Loud and they give excellent Bass that, your connected neighbours will literally hear every note, word or any other noise that it produces, but if you like terrorising your neighbours go ahead spend the money and trust me, you will be satisfied. Not only does it deliver for every second that i have it turned on, It adds a look of (for want of a better word) cool-ness :). It has multiple settings that add to the quality and multiple EQ's that make it sound A LOT better, (the best is salsa btw). This speaker set has made me enjoy music a lot more than i used to, even though it has made my neighbours dislike me :). It was definately worth the money and would recommend it to everyone who considers themselves passionate about music.

I recived this as a gift from my parents for christmas, and when me and my Dad had intalled it and had a play with it, then you began to experience how good it is. The bass id amazing. The sound is as clear as water. And it conects to my iPod so I don't have to keep changing CD's.
Overall its a 11/10 Hi-Fi and i would really recomend that if you are interested in buying one that do it, you will not be disapointed!

This soundsytem is amazing. Every element about this product is excellent. Firstly, it is visually amazing, it looks so slick the volume dial lights to the beat and the sound meter is like a speed dial which stylishly jigs to the beat. Not only the main unit is hot but the speakers look beautiful aswell perfect for those who like to show off :)

Next the important part. The sound. This soundsystem features crystal quality sound the bass is unbelievably clear and it doesn't matter how loud you put it, the sound doesn't distort. It really is the dream system. As well as this there are a selection of eq setting which are preset along with a manual option. Not only is the quality of sound good, but the volume is amazing. This system goes extremely loud. Do not be decieved by its size. Turn this to maximum volume and the whole street will hear it, perfect for a house/street party. Honestly, its so loud that I rarely need to turn it any louder than half volume. If you do want to try and keep your neighbours happy you can limit the bass by turning of the subwoofer with a simple on off switch.

The final thing to coment on is the functionality of the system. Obviously it plays CD's, radio and tapes. As well as these you can play media device through the USB slot, it will accept ipods, sony walkmans, some sony phones and other USB devices. It is even possible to record on to the USB device. Thats not all there's more, there is also a microphone jack in which a mic can be plugged in and the mic level can be controlled, suitable for a kareoke or a laugh. I could comment on other feature such as the audio input allowing you to connect your tv sound to the player or the clock but my hands are tired.

To summarise this HI-FI is well worth purchasing. Sony have put some great features into this system and it looks and sounds great. Considering the low price aswell, it is more than worth the money. 12/10 WELL RECCOMENDED TO ANY TRUE MUSIC FAN! BUY IT NOW!!!

Amazing SONY product. Sounds and looking stunning, perfect for indoor and outdoor events/parties. Would recomend to anyone loving big bass and clear sound.
