and then this beast turned up. very quick delivery. looks amazing, sounds amazing.
the only downer is the size of the body of the machine, quite long, so if ur wanting to get something to fit a space make sure u knw the size.

Sony CMT-BX70DBi DAB Micro System

This purchase was for kitchen use and I must say I am really impressed that such a small unit can produce the quality sounds that it does. This was my first exploration into DAB radio and wow, am I impressed! The quality of reception combined with the CD player are out of this world. It certainly matches my Sony separates system in the lounge and that cost me a fortune originally. There is also a i-pod dock included so what more could you want! This is an outstanding purchase and through Amazon a complete bargain. Well impressed.

Sony DAB Micro system - smashing!
(5 out of 5) by Miss De Meaner on Feb 5, 2009 (UK)This micro system has to be one of the best on the market. It basically does what it says on the tin. Sound quality is great for its size. DAB is working fine where I am without any extra super-dooper booster thingies. It comes with various sized adapters so that varying sizes of Ipod can be integrated with it.
Really can't complain about it at all. Great value for what it is / does... and lovely purple / blue writing displaying radio channel etc!
