Good feel and fit in the hand, reciever is a fit and forget item, a fair few options available to configure the butons and actions of the mouse with the software. Only tiny gripe is, why put the on/off button on the base?!?!

Ordered this yesterday (1.4.09) received it this morning 2.4.09! Superb service from seller Cartridge Point. I too have been struggling with the so called "Touch Pad" and this item is soooo good. Feels good, the curser is so fast and you can adjust the speed of it too. The mouse turns itself off after 30 secs of non-use and resumes as soon as you use it. It's a shame Logitech don't emphasize the USB stand which you attach to a desk top (5 foot cable) placed discretely under or at the side of your screen. I almost ignored this product as it's shown as "mouse for Notebooks" but I am also able to use it with my desktop. If you want a well designed mouse that feels and is good to use, this is the one.

Having given up on wired mouse I opted for this to use on my G5 PowerMac Desktop. It loaded the software without a hitch and is now in daily use. Just love it - great value too!

Very nice mouse. The USB dongle is tiny and tucks aways inside the mouse switching it off when not in use. Easy to use and very comfortable. Accurate and precise. You may have gathered that I like it!

Just plugged into my Linux netbook and it worked no problem. Tracks on almost any surface. Great battery life so far. Deserves the full five stars.
