Good build quality - ideal for left handers
This is a very nicely sized mouse considering it is supposed to be for laptops - I've had no problem using this with my desktop. It has a very strudy, chunky feel about it, and first impressions suggest it will last a long time.
The USB transmitter is tiny and slots invisibly into the USB port on my keyboard. I'm using it on Mac OSX Leopard and all buttons work without the need to install Logitech's software. It's very sensitive, so you'll probably need to turn down sensitivity in System Prefs.
The scroll wheel feels nice - just the right amount of clicky-resistance, and if you push it down it removes the clicks and allows for 'flick-n-spin' scrolling through long documents - however I doubt I would ever use this. There's a button just below the scroll wheel which on my system automatically mimics the 'middle button' setting in System Prefs.
It is unlikely that I will install the laptop screen clip, but will certainly use the mouse on my laptops when out and about.
Being left handed, many mice are out of bounds, but this mouse is perfectly symmetrical, so works for everyone equally. Some people will prefer a bigger mouse, but for me it's just the right size for all uses. 4 stars because the design is a tad dull!

a mighty mouse!
I am delighted with this mouse. Easy to use and very responsive. And I love being able to "park" the mouse on the lid of my laptop, which also switches it off. I would reccomend this mouse to anyone.

Wireless mouse
This Logitech V550 Nano Cordless Laser Mouse is absolutely excellent. The best mouse I have ever used. The tiny wireless receiver never needs to be removed from the laptop and the mouse works on almost any surface.
nice portable mouse
This is a great little mouse. Worked straight away in Vista without needing to install any drivers. My only criticism is that I would have preferred to be able to do middle click with the mouse wheel instead of clicking the little button below. The mouse wheel tilts left and right allowing you to sideways scroll in some apps. I quite like the clip-and-go thingy. It is a bit ugly on your laptop, but it does mean one less hand needed if you often carry your laptop between rooms without the aid of a laptop bag. Having an off switch is also a nice touch to help preserve battery life.
Perfect for Traveling
fantastic for use with my laptop I have just had the past four weeks in Spain without having to think about connecting my mouse.Perfect product at a great price.
