Very functional & easy to use

Having used some very poor quality cordless phones before, I was very much surprised with this set. The sound quality is excellent, none of this old style hiss as years ago.

All sets have a decent feel to them & feel relatively sturdy. Each unit contains rechargable batteries, which is an excellent feature, as if they eventually go, you can replace them, without having to buy a whole new handset like with other makes.

The answering machine has a decent sized number display showing whether there's a message or not (some other phones just leave it to a tiny icon on the phone's display - not the quickest way to alert you surely?). If someone leaves a message, all handsets display a blinking light also (clearly visible again). They also do the same thing (with a different screen icon) when someone calls but chooses not to leave a message.

Adding entries to the phone book is very easy & simple to do. As each phone has a separate memory, you have to transfer the phone book from one to another (or manually enter them in). This is not a problem as it is done over-the-air and takes approximately 15 seconds to transfer a whole batch.

The only drawbacks are the lack of ring tones - not a great deal available, and the fact that if someone calls, you have to clear the recent call list on each phone. Not the end of the world, and does not take away from the fact that this is an excellent phone set.
