Good, with some silly design flaws

However, adding a sub woofer (a cheap one from a 2:1 PC speaker set is fine) makes a huge difference, and takes the sound to the next level. Still not HiFi, but good none-the-less.
There are two very silly design problems though:
1) The sub woofer volume doesn't follow the unit's volume, so you have to adjust it separately - that really is stupid!
2) There's no way to set the volume of the iPod for the alarm, so no matter what volume you were listening to when you turned it off, it'll always come on at 15 in the morning, which is too loud. I wouldn't expect to adjust the buzzer volume, but music is different and there needs to be an adjustment.
