Probably the best-value brand

Wren on Apr 15, 2009 (Herefordshire, UK)I've used many brands of alkaline batteries over the years for powering small electrical items including radios, smoke detectors... but, although batteries are a fairly homogenous product, the Duracell brand do seem to outlast the cheaper alkaline alternatives so have become my brand of choice. These are reliable, do their job - and do it well.

Still going strong several months later...
(5 out of 5) by Mr. Yousuf Kazmi on May 10, 2009They are still powering my sons walkie talkies several months after purchase. Worth the extra cost in my opinion. Cheap batteries just don't come close.
