Having bought and used a number of MP3/4 Players recently (I am a dance teacher and use them,amplified,for class work)I can give this player five stars with confidence. The Sony E Series I own is also a little gem but I wanted a more 'substantial' player and this A Series fits the bill wonderfully.The build quality is superb - much,much better than the cheap plastic (not always cheaper) opposition.The large screen is a joy to use, the sound quality is second to none and file transfer using (in my case) Media Player 11 is a simple piece of cake.But I would rate this player above all others I own mainly because of its ease of operation and ability to find and play tracks quickly. Battery life appears as good as any I have owned and the Bluetooth option a valuable extra. Spend an extra few pound on a mains adapter (the player can only be charged via usb )and you will find that you can use the player and charge at the same time - very useful in my case.A super Quality little machine.

I ordered about 5;15 on tuesday evening. Next morning at 8:30 it was on my doorstep. Didnt expect the double speakers somehow, no picture, thought headphones to be of the blue tooth variety, but thats my old age. Foind the earpieces less comfy than the basic 436. the sound quality of that so wowed me i got one for myself. The first was to enable my husband to blot out other noise, we are hooked by the quality, the Bose sits idle. Amazing service.

This Sony Walkman looks really cool and is easy to use the sound quality is great as you would expect from Sony.I would have liked an indication as to how many down loads 4 GB can hold I may have decided to get one with a greater capacity. The Speaker is also good a real bonus to listen to around the house, I also think that the picture clarity on such a small screen is ore some !!
