Fantastic picture, so easy to set up, I have had it a month and only looked at the instructions for the first time tonight. I can't comment on the sound as I have my sound put through a AV surround sound amp and feed the TV with high quality HDMI cables and the picture is excellent, can not wait until my Blu-ray player arrives, ordered a Samsung BD-P1500/XEU last week through a Amazon seller and it was dead on arrival and had to be returned which was very disappointing. I can vouch for what previous reviewers have said, it is a dust magnet. Anynet+ function is good idea, works with other Samsung products with Anynet+, which for example, play a DVD or Blu-ray on a compatible product and this turns on your TV.

i've owned this tv for 4 months now and i think it's great.
it's slim light weight (great for mounting on a wall), very easy to set up and use.
the picture quality is superb watching DARK KNIGHT in BLU-RAY will blow you away. the blacks are dark and very rich (something LCD tv struggle with at times).
As for standard picture if you don't have SKY HD/V+ HD it's not very good unless you buy a good scart lead(GOLD PLATED TYPE). No good having a £600 plus tv and using a £3 wilkos scart lead with it. i use to play with the picture settings everytime i turned the set on. Yet after purchasing a good scart lead i never touched it again.

the only downside (and there is really only one) is the sound levels are not great when playing movies. i would recommend a good sound system.

but i still give it 5 stars because its a great 1080p tv at a great price

I'm seriously thinking of returning this item because of the poor quality of the display colours. I'm having to adjust the colour settings literally every time I watch TV. One TV channel is too dark, one is too bright, another one has too much red, and so on... Even different programmes on the same channel have major differences in colour output.

I don't know if this is the thing with LCD TVs in general, i.e. whether the colours are poor because the TV broacast is not yet HD and this causes some sort of "loss in translation".

In any case if you intend to use this item mainly for TV viewing, I'd say do not give up your old fashioned TV in favour of these LCD ones just yet. Wait for the TV broadcasters to upgrade their signals to HD (probably by 2010 or so).

PS. I've done quite a bit of research in 37-40" LCDs and still gone wrong in the end. My final verdict is that it's still early days for this technology. Plus I understand that if you don't go for the £900+ range it is unlikely to get quality.

After looking for several months decided on the Samsung for all the features it has and the price. Got it from a different retailer sorry Amazon. After a short time fiddling about with picture settings i was very impressed. Picture looked good on Sky+ and Nintendo Wii. Can't wait to get Sky+ HD. As with previous reviewer tv looks good on or off. On the minus side the surround does attract a fair amount of dust and the sound could do with a bit more bass. Hook it up to a surround sound system and there is no problem. On the whole an excellent tv.

Just received my LE37A616A, and it's very impressive.

Pros - Fantastic Picture, Truly Amazing.
- Looks good on or off
- Plenty of connection options

Cons - Lack of bass on sound, it sounds a bit flat. I intend to invest in a surround sound system to correct this.

I would give 4 and a half stars if I could!
