(5 out of 5) by M. Hassani on Aug 18, 2009For the past few years I have been using a Creative X-Fi Music soundcard (PCI) for my PC.
Last year I sold my PC and I have been on a laptop - desperate to get the clarity I once had with my old soundcard I went and bought one of these.
I can safely say the sound quality (through my Z5500s) is comparable to the PCI X-Fi music. This is hands down the best laptop soundcard available.
It works very well with Windows 7 (thanks to Creative's beta drivers available through their website) and it has been tested on Vista as well.
Overall I cannot fault these. After spending a year listening to music through a direct jack output, these have shown me yet again what real music is. My only regret is that I did not buy them earlier!
