The best digital camera I have ever owned!
I have owned 4 digital cameras before this one, all costing substantially more and all have left me disappointed, one in particular by Vivitar is truly patheric. I've brought them on holiday and have always been let down for one reason or another so when I booked my next holiday I decided to invest in another camera as a last ditch hope and for some reason I ended up going for a Panasonic as I have had their TVs, camcorders and so on in the past and they have served me well.
What can I say about this camera? Well, I am in love with it. I am not a serious photographer, all I want is a point and shoot camera, which seemed impossible to find in a digital camera. Not this one, just put it on intelligent mode and go for it, I even took one of my cat in an unlit room at night and it came out beautifully, in focus, clear as a bell, just amazing! It has so many modes that are all clearly labelled on the menu so any idiot can have fun with it. If you are a pet owner it has a great mode, just put in your pet's date of birth and their name and you can have photos with that info on it, there's one for children too, perfect for taking baby photos. As for battery power, it is brilliant, the Vivitar chargable battery drained very quickly, this one uses AAs and they seem to be lasting forever.
I could go on forever about this camera, but, all I will say is if you want an easy to understand and use camera that is very reliable and a great price then you can't go too far wrong with this one, highly recommeded.
