Classy yes, but expensive too

(3 out of 5) by S. Arnold on Feb 3, 2009 (UK)
This is a beautifully made little case in which the Sony TG3 High Definition Digital Camcorder fits snugly, and its colour matches well the dark brown and silver of the camcorder. Inside there are two pockets to hold spare memory sticks, but room for absolutely nothing else. This case would have been better if it provided room for a spare battery. The case is held closed by a magnetic strip, which with a hard knock could conceivably come undone. There is a loop on the back to pass a belt through, but it would have been useful if a shoulder strap had been included too. However, I think the £35.62 I paid was high for what it is.

Quality in a small package!

(5 out of 5) by Gandyman on Jan 29, 2009
I wanted to go HD after using Canon digital cameras for a number of years. Very glad I chose this one because it is a little beauty. Simplicity itself to use, with intuitive controls and a very nice and easy to see touch screen - even in strong sunlight. I thought I would miss having an optical view finder but the screen is well up to the job. Downloading and editing the files still presents a problem or two. There isn't a lot of software out there that efficiently handles these large files and your processor really needs to be up to the job. Things will get better. Picture quality, still and movie, that this camera is capable of, is worth working at.

Sturdy

(4 out of 5) by Mrs. L. Stewart on Aug 12, 2009 (Aberdeen, Scotland)
This case is sturdy and will definitely keep the camcorder safe. However, having persuaded my hubby to change our old Sony handycam for the petite TG3, I found that the case spoiled the whole point of having a small lightweight camera! It makes the camera bulky and it's actually relatively heavy. I think the case is a good buy but beware - it will turn your pocket size camcorder into a leather bound brick!!!
