The Hp cable was indeed the right choice I made and thank you to the seller who was more than helpfull to keep us updated about the delivery of the product when the royal mail were on strike. He also committed to getting us a new one if the one which we ordered was lost in the post, however it was not required.

Having used HP laptops ever since i started using them, i've never seen a charger like this before- the product differs from the one shown in the picture, especially the PIN connector. Worst for me the PIN doesnt fit properly into the socket in my laptop- second the wire itself is a bit slimmer than the original one. Moreover, the neck of the connecting PIN does not have the built-in grip, that is found on all HP chargers, and is also a bit weak- liable to break in a years time.
On the upside- it charges- and since my previous charger went dead- I had no time to send it back and try replacements. Please clarify from the seller before you buy- cuz what you see is NOT what you get!
Delivery timings were fine though- arrived within the delivery estimate periods.

Got this after searching for an original charger for my daughters HP G6000 laptop. The wire came loose at the black square block, she nearly got an electric shock. But now she is and i am very happy with this. I found this to be more thicker cable than the original. Very good price as well from Amazon. Well Done.

this is my 3rd charger all wires broke just above adapter that plugs into laptop.purchase and delivery were spot on i would like to know if its a common problem with them or just bad luck.

I was quoted £60-£80 for a HP laptop adaptor/charger from Currys and Staples, after checking Amazon I found the item I was looking for for under £20 (incl p&p). The charger arrived before the given date in perfect packaging and in fully working order. This was my 1st time using Amazon but would have no worries about using the again.
