Good machine but!

The good news is that it is very easy to work out how to connect it up with the sky box and TV. It seems very reliable too. the bad news, and reason I have only given three stars is that the instructions come in many languages, but not English. I would have thought a company like Samsung would have ensured the most used language in the world was included.

Not UK spec
(1 out of 5) by Mr. John Foreman on Aug 25, 2009 (Cardiff, Wales, UK)Samsung DVD-V6800 came from AVIDES MEDIA AG in Germany to me in the UK and arrived with German ONLY manual and 2 pin Euro mains plug. Via the modulated RF output (coaxial lead) to TV it would display picture from DVD/VHS/TUNER but NOT sound. Not Pal I UK ?
Email communication with the company was a bit vague , but they fully refunded me in a reasonable
period of time and I would give THEM 4 Stars for this.
Note I did have to carry this heavy box to a Post Office and the pre-paid return label was only 2nd class and as the package was over 5kg, only the second Post Office I went to would accept it, when they should not have.

Good Choice
(5 out of 5) by Mr. L. A. Tiff on Oct 16, 2009 (w-s-m)Everything came and the product works great. However the instructions were in German. This was easily solved by going on to samsungs site and downloading the english instruction manual.
