It was a display model and there was no indication of that when I was buying it
The delivery was delayed and delayed
The packaging was torn up almost broken open
The camera itself was scratched over and over

Conclusion a total disaster and I will not ever come back to this seller.

Besides the bad seller the camera is a very good one. I already have one and it works perfectly.

We used to have a Canon PowerShot, it fell into a bucket of water and so we decided after trying 4 other Canon cameras, to settle for this one. Its absolutely brilliant. Dont settle for less than the 3" screen Canons...they are fab! The pics it takes are better than any other camera we've tried (and that's a fair few) the settings and effects it has are brilliant too. Shoots excellent video, even at night...the audio is also great. Our old model was also superb but felt a bit plastic, but this is all brushed metal, feels very sturdy and much more expensive than it is. Fits into your pocket too...cant say a bad word about this camera, its absolute perfection. I'll never buy another brand..Canon is the mutts nuts! We also tried the latest IXUS (£300 or so!) but this model we eventually settled for(90 IS) is even better....dont ask me why, it just is...and you dont panic taking it out worrying youre going to drop it or damage it!! BUY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got this camera because either Which or the Gadget show (can't remember which one) recommended it as the best compact camera. Now I have to admit, I'm not one for getting something and spending hours pouring over a manual learning every feature. I just open the box and use it. I don't think it's ever been off the 'Auto' setting, and why should it, when it gets the results it does. Unbelievably sharp, crisp photos. Just been on holiday, where many of us were taking photos of the same thing, and every time bar done, the Ixus won the image war. very easy to use, great big screen on the back intuitive (iPod like) navigation when you want to look back through your photos. I have no idea what settings and gadgets I'm missing out on, or what later and greater models can do that this cannot (i see there's already an ixus 95) but if you get this one, you won't be disappointed. Christ knows how someone gave this a 1 star rating, i'd love them to review the cameras I had before this one...!!!

I am really happy with this camera. I have always had Fuji's before this but I think this one has excellent cameras, battery life, zoom during video etc. Really happy.

I bought an ixus 75 and had great fun with it but on my last holiday the camera was stolen and so when I returned i bought the 90 as a replacement.
I have been using it for 2 months now and find it a great camera to use with lots of useful functions. Even better than the 75 because it solved a few of the niggles that came with the older camera.
All together this is a great camera and lots of fun to use and I would recommend it to everyone who want a point and click camera with LOTS of functions to play with.
