System..

(4 out of 5) by W. Theodore on Oct 21, 2008 (Wales)
Brilliant system for bargain price! Ipod dock is genius, but, you need the tv on to be able to change album/artists but if ur happy to the one you were listening to when it docked you can skip/pause/play just like with a cd using just the cinema system on. Although dont expect it to be a substitute for your home hi-fi system.

The rear cables, like all reviewers have stated, are a little short and my room is quiet small but i shall be rewiring them as somebody has recommended! The unit is easy to use, and pretty sleek..the sub is GOOD and the speakers are mostly crisp!

Only minus point really is i am unable to find any brackets at the momement which can hold the satellite speakers up, as they are pretty heavy. But this is not the systems fault! (Anyone recommend any by the way?)

Was torn between this and the "Sony DAV-DZ260" which was slightly cheaper, and more reviewers/stars but after listening to it in Comet, and the plus point of an ipod dock, i was pulled towards the Panasonic to go with my Panasonic TX-32LZD80 and never looked back!

Superb Clarity

(5 out of 5) by Michael Foskett on Aug 25, 2008 (Cotswolds,Gloucestershire)
As i am getting on in years i wanted a system that gave excellent clarity of sound and this system does this superbly. Every little detail is picked out distinctly even on low volume. I do not use the rear speakers as i am happy with the 3:1 effect + sub. The upscaling to 1080P is also really excellent. Well thought-out remote and visually it matches my Sky HD receiver superbly.

Great sound for the money

(5 out of 5) by K. Sims on Jul 1, 2008 (Cwmbran)
It does what is "say's on the tin" im very happy with the sound and the look, but beware the uk model does not play DVIX, not a problem as i have a PS3 (it plays dvix)plugged into this and the sound is magic, i cant see the problem with the speaker cable its miles long unless you live in a mansion! i gave this a 5 star for the sound, ipod, quality, conections and looks

Beware the speakers

(3 out of 5) by Findo Gask on Apr 19, 2008 (Perthshire)
Can't really comment on the performance of this unit because of the hard wired speakers. Having to send mine back because the cable is hard connected to the speakers and the connection to the unit is a Panny connector. If you were thinking of using existing cable you can't and the supplied cable ain't that long for some of the speakers. If I'd known this I wouldn't be returning it as I'd never have bought it. Neutral 3 as I've never used it but it looks ideal for some.

doesn't support DTS surround sound over optical input

(2 out of 5) by B. JOHNSON on May 2, 2009 (UK)
if you're hoping to get surround sound from your EXTERNAL blueray / ps3, using the optical input on this machine, be careful when buying this product. if the audio signal coming in is DTS format, you simply won't hear any audio. it appears to decode DTS audio if streaming from the internal dvd drive (it's just DTS over optical input that doesnt work).
