Great

(4 out of 5) by Brian Greenwood on Jul 14, 2008 (uk)
This unit sounds great, the dvds look great.
The length of the speaker cables didnt bother me because i used existing buried cables, so i just cut them.
My ipod sounds good but the menus are a bit slow to access a particular artist/song if you have a lot in there.
It has a usb port but my external hdd doesn't work, so i presume it's for usb memory sticks only.

overall it's an excellent piece of kit.
Love it for xbox 360 movies and games!

well pleased

i bought this product just on the fact that i was on a budget, thinking it will do me for now until i could afford a better one, but how mistaken was i, what a sound, if you position the speakers correctly then u get the full force of the 1000 watts, the only down sides i did find is the length of the speaker wires, and the difficulty i had runing the tv sound through it but that was soon overcome. i would reccomend this to any one who wants the big sound for few bucks

Amazing, big sound for small price!

As I'm not great on technology, I was concerned when looking around for a home cinema system, that I would need to get the experts in to install so that everything worked for TV, DVD, Radio tuner etc. through my Virgin+ Box. But much to my surprise I had everything up and running in no time, although I did need an Optical Cable (which I had pre-ordered, also through Amazon) to complete the job which, at just £4.99 works perfectly.
I should say that I downloaded the User's Manual for this model from the Panasonic site prior to ordering, so I was fairly well up to speed on what to expect before delivery and this was a great help. Thank you Panasonic!
I find that everything, including a USB memory stick with pictures and music, plus my Grandson's Ipod, performs superbly with crystal clear quality And all this for an Amazon price which was about a 1/3rd cheaper than most other retailers. What a result!!

Totally Outstanding!

(5 out of 5) by NextGenGiveaway.co.uk on Jan 28, 2009
I'm very impressed with this system, and firstly, i think Panasonic have started giving longer cables for the surround speakers because i have ooodles of the staff! metres and metres! tooo much if anything!

The sound quality is incredible, rich and deep and the picture even with a SCART is amazing (i have ordered a nice shiny platinum HDMI cable so we will see what difference it makes!)

I can't imagine it being much better, without going for the wireless speakers (but then you might lose one!) its briliant, and such an incredible bargain!

Recommended A+++++++++++++

Do it, Buy it, you wont regret it!

Loud!

(5 out of 5) by Mr. Matthew Smith on Dec 4, 2008
Excellent product. very easy to set up, when i got it going was very impressed with the sound. just tried it out on MI3 bridge scene and my room was shaking. have tried action, concert, musical and general dialogue films and it delivers in each genre. i find 35 a perfectly loud level of sound but tried it all the was to 50 and the house was shaking. ipod and cd connection is good but just switch to the music dolby mode for better sound when playing music (which is obviously what they had in mind for that feature). length of wire was more than adequate for me in a good sized room, although i ran mine under the carpet, but can see if you were to run the wires around the room via the side walls it may fall short. also have hooked it up to my 360 via the tv and it is great with that too. was worried dialogue was out of sync at one point but just turned out to be a very old dvd. would thoroughly recommend this unit
