Roomy case for your Handycam

Bought this my Sony HDRXR520VE, and it fits in there without any problems.
It also manages to house: Power cables + adaptor, video cables, Remote Control, tripod mounting plate and could squeeze a spare battery in there if I had one!
Im giving it a four because there is no internal strap to secure the camera in place, just in case the main flap is opened accidentally which could cause the camera to fall out! (ouch)
Having said that, you could probably purchase some kind of Velcro strap to be extra safe.
Other than that small point its a very good case!

Erwin on Nov 29, 2009 (Derbyshire UK)I bought this to keep my Sony HX1 camera in and it fits nicely allowing room for charger, spare batteries etc. It is not the biggest case in world so be aware that it will only fit a slr type camera and a few other bits with a standard lens! EG my nikon d5000 fits with standard 18-55 lens! The case is nicely padded and has usual velcro moveable section in the main compartment. Overall a nicely made case but not as big as may appear in picture? 4****

I can now carry my wide angle lens and lens cleaning kit plus spare battery and memory stick all together in one case with room to spare. The only reason I have't given it 5 stars is because the main closure doesn't zip, thereby letting rain in more easily.
Very good value for money

Coutts on Aug 29, 2009When I first looked into buying a case for my Handycam 310E, I read customer reviews like the one I'm writing and read one that said the flap-over didn't seal the contents from the weather when it's closed up and there wasn't enough room for all their extra gear. However, I was very pleased with this buy, there is plenty of room for all the accessories which come with the handycam plus a little more which suits my purposes and the flap-over closes up the case okay with the fastening clip nice and snug, although I do keep the camcorder in its original plastic bag when its in the case for extra protection as the ends of the flap only just overlap. It is a good quality case and well worth the money.
Sack Of All Things Wondeful

It may not be the largest sack I carry with me, the other one not being branded (I think), but it can certainly hold a lot. I can fit an SR12, charger cables, TV component cables, SR12 wide angle lense, spare battery, a zoom lense for a Sony Alpha, and a charger for a Sony Alpha. Overall a fantastic case. If all sacks were like this, the world would be a better place for it, and santa would be redundant :)
