Perfect

Aug 4, 2008 - By S. Calvert (UK)

This cable is as described. Original, works fine. So good in fact I've ordered another one. Sold and delivered for half the price of the same cable on the O2 and carphone warehouse sites. Can't complain.

I must also say I did buy a cheap copy cable first, from a difference seller, but this didn't work and am now in the process of trying to return that cable.. Don't waste your money on cheap copies and buy this original cable THAT WORKS!

Highly recommend this cable. I use it on my 3G iphone and my ipod video.

I believe BeaufortLtd sent me a fake!

Oct 22, 2008 - By Mr. D. Cheung

As soon as I got it, I knew something about it was different: I compared it to a cable that came with the iPod, and noticed the following differences:

- Every logo printed on the cable is different: different alignments, different thicknesses
- I know Apple cables are packaged in a very distinct coiled rectangular shape, this one was loosely coiled in a circle
- The plastic itself feels very cheap: joins are not aligned properly, parts overlap and stick out where they shouldn't, and it is not cut precisely on some edges.

Not the real tthing

Unfortunately, I was sent a faulty fake (confirmed when I took the item into an Apple store) that jammed in my ipod. Will have to pay to get the faulty item removed. If you want the real thing, then I would say avoid buying this item.

Very impressed

Oct 6, 2008 - By Mr. D. R. Lewis

The cables are correctly branded and work perfectly with my iPhone 3G. At 2/5ths of the Apple price and free postage getting you'd be a fool getting one from anywhere else.

It's probably worth noting that these are the older type of Apple cables with the locking pins and two buttons to release the cable (The latest version has dispensed with the locking pins and has no release buttons).

Exactly Right

Exactly what you want if you've lost that darned USB cable for your iPod - it's Apple branded, well made, and works.
