research paid off

(5 out of 5) by Michael P. Hardwick on Nov 3, 2008 (LONDON,ENGLAND)
i did plenty of research before making a purchase as it is a lot of money.however it is worth every penny and would not hesitate to recommend this product to anybody thinking about purchasing an lcd tv.size can be misleading i would not buy with a screen smaller than a 40inch.oh yes and most importantly very easy to set up once its out of the box,i ordered via amazon prompt delivery and no problems

HD Ready - grrr

(3 out of 5) by T. Gauntlett on Nov 7, 2008 (London, England)
Don't be fooled by the infamous "HD Ready" tag, and especially not by the moron who tagged this "1080p" - it isn't. To quote the TV's specification: Screen resolution of 1366 pixels horizontal and 768 pixels vertical. 1080p requires 1920x1080 - this is a poor 1080i set, hence the low-ish price. It can be argued that you can't tell much difference between 720p and 1080p at 32", but I'd prefer spendin an extra £100 for a 1080p. Simple maths can tell you the difference - the picture will be made up of 2,073,600 dots on one and 1,049,088 on the other. Pretty much double resolution, eh?

Cheapest deal I found on the net. Working absolutely perfectly. Have been using it for more than 6 months without a problem.
