Highly recommended digital camera

(5 out of 5) by Richard Kirby on Mar 21, 2009 (Sheffield, England)
Although this camera was bought as a present for my future son-in-law his reaction of being fully satisfied with the product is genuine. The features that were searched for were ability to play a short video with sound, compactness, rechargeable battery with battery-charger, price amongst other things. All are present and the price was below our maximum. The one item it lacked was a carrying-case (but wasn't essential for us since we already had one) but this may leave some people disappointed.

its a nice little thing really

(5 out of 5) by Isabel on Feb 18, 2009 (UK)
I bought this little camera from another retailer in red. It takes nice pictures but the delete does take a few (split) seconds longer than really nessicary and the image sharpens quite a considerable amount once you have atchualy pressed the button and taken the pic. When I bought mine I did not get the users manuel and instillation CD with it. This was a little anoying but I don't think it usualy happens because my certain camera had been in a display so it probably got lost and no-one wanted to own up. It's OK because you can download a user's manual of the website and you can take the pics straight off the memory card or alteritivly buy a recplacement CD (however at a fairly high price). This is a nicer camera than a previous Olympus overall so I think it deserved 4-5* because of the high quality, especially in videos. It has impressed all my friends and family over the past 3 months, I have a 4GB memory card and although I take 100s of pics a month, I have not even nearly filled the card. I would recommend this to anyone.

Lovely little camera

(4 out of 5) by Cornelius on Jul 1, 2009 (Bath)
Bought this days before a trip round Europe and on the whole it did not disappoint. My only niggle with it was attempting to take night shots - I found I got better light/exposure whilst in the 'Landscape' mode apposed to 'Night' mode. I must have made my friend wait for about forty minutes as I tried to get my 'perfect shot' of the Spanish Steps in Rome!
However, when purchased in conjunction with an 8GB SDHC card, it can hold (approx) 3,400 pictures in the 8M setting so you can happily afford to experiment to your heart's desire with numerous modes, safe in the knowledge the camera has a decent battery life (much longer than my friend's patience.)

Great little camera

(5 out of 5) by P. L. Wood on Apr 22, 2009
Small enough to fit in your pocket and takes great pictures. I've had a 3MP Finepix before, and when I upgraded to 5MP I bought a Vivitar as it was cheaper. I was very disappointed and wanted another Finepix. The pictures are so clear and the wide choice of shooting modes makes it easy to get the right settings. The only downside is that it doesn't come with a case.

Excellent Camera

(4 out of 5) by J. Snavely on Apr 14, 2009 (London UK)
This is a great product and excellent value for money I think.
All the photos I take turn out really well so I have no real complaints except the flash sometimes goes on when you dont want it to.
But all in all I am very pleased that I bought it.
