Good, but could of been better

(4 out of 5) by Michael Grant on Nov 30, 2009
I brought this walkman about 1 year and a half ago, and has served me well with the long battery life and okay memory. But it was simple nothing more than you expect. It is a very easy item that can get scratched and marked with ease. The bluetooth is a nice add-on as i used the headphones a lot. They could be used for all bluetooth devices like phones(came handy for answering calls as it has a button allowing to accept incoming phone calls).

It could of had more memory as mine was only 8GB, couldn't hold my whole music library and i was expecting to hold a few movies, but i couldn't as i had filled it under a couple of weeks (My whole music taking up in total 25GB over 2500 songs) I decided to but a Apple ipod Classic 120GB as this suits my needs. The walkman has a few annoying buttons like the bluetooth button and hold button as they're there just for the sake of it. The screen is very good along with the simple and easy menu. That is why i've gave this walkman a 4 star review. Thanks.

Love it

Love this MP3 player, only problem is, I left it in New Zealand with my sister who posted it to me in Sydney which arrived the day I left there and it's now stuck in Sydney and I'm back home in Wales.

This MP3 is awesome, no faults. Don't see the point in having it wireless as the one I bought in NZ didn't come with wireless headphones and I wasn't paying a stupid amount for them.
It's cool it comes with bluetooth, but again, don't see why they made this function.

If your wondering whether to choose between this model with the wireless/bluetooth option or the regular mp3 player, save a bit of money and buy the one without the wireless function. As I'm going travelling, it would be pointless in having the wireless one now as the batteries are obviously going to run out with the wireless headphones....

Sony Walkman NWZA828K

I was almost put off puchasing this item due to some negative reviews regarding the bluetooth headphones, but decided to take a chance and make up my own mind as I could use the wired ear buds supplied which were reviewed as good quality.
I am glad I made this decision as due to many reasons I required an MP3 player with no wires or in ear phones, and the sound quality through the bluetooth headset is excellent and if you do not stray to far from the player (I keep mine in my pocket) I have had no problems with the reception breaking down, a slight hiss which is minimal and does not spoil any music playback in anyway, the wired buds do produce a better and richer sound quality, but I am still very pleased with the sound quality of the bluetooth headset.
The quality and ease to load with music is great, and the price I paid due to good discounts at the moment makes me very pleased I made the purchase, suits all my requirments I was looking for in a new MP3 player.

This is an excellent product and I would highly recommend it to everybody. The sound quality, memory and battery life is exceptional and I just love everything about it. I've had several mp4 players and this is the best by far, even better than my I-pod!

Review of Sony NWZA828K Wireless walkman

I recently purchased this and I am very pleased with this walkman as I was looking for some descent wireless walkman. I was slightly disappointed with video as I was assuming this is BBC iplayer compatible but it looks this model is not compatible with bbc iplayer video. I was able to play some youtube videos by converting to MP4. Overall its good for audio and it would have been G8 if this would have worked well BBC iPlayer. Anyway it is good for the money.
