Bought this about 8 months ago, still going strong.
I bought it to use at the gym where wires get in the way and its great- does not get interference from HRM or other machinary.
Also comes with a set of wired earphones and you can use any other bluetooth or wired pair of earphones with the player which is good as the bluetooth earphones that accompany it are not inear so the sound does leak/its not as loud as you may normally have it.
The battery power is the other negative point, with the bluetooth earphones lasts about 12 hours (a day) but with using wired earphones lasts for much longer (3 days-ish or 60 hours aprox).
Replacement bluetooth earphones are not cheap so bear this in mind- not that the paid supplied will break- they are great and easy to carry around as they fold up nicely, but they are not the in-ear type.
Downloading stuff is very easy, no mega amount of software to download and works well with Vista (unlike sony ericsson which does not seem to like vista). But I do not like the way that you can only mess with playlists and delete stuff on the computer- not via the player alone.
Otherwise a great player!

I brought this mp3 player last month and have to say its worth every penny. The sound quality is out of this world and I love the fact the product comes with a normal set of headphones and the bluetooth set aswell. The battery life is excellent and the video quality is superb. Having previously owned a IPOD nano I would really recommend this product over any Apple products, it is so easy to transfer music and the player plays different file types.

A must for any music lover

Another great product from sony. This mp3 player is great. Ok, it my lack some features that you can find on other mp3 players for the same price but do You really need them. Your paying for the sony quality and i doesn't fault here. Its thin, light, durable, great styling, has a great screen on it and the sound quality is superb. Its also very easy to use, no delay on the buttons and very easy to music on to it especially if you use windows media player.

The only reason i haven't given this product 5 stars is because of the headphones. Dont get me wrong, they are a great extra to the walkman and being wireless is very handy. The problem i did find though is that they are not adjustable. They wrap around the back of your head but you can not adjust them to your head size. I find that i must have a slightly to small a head for them and find that the whole weight is resting on my ears and after a while they start to hurt.

So, looks good, sounds good (even with the bluetooth headphones) but shame the headphones were constructed just a little better and more thought put into the fact that people have different size and shape heads.

I bought this based on 3 reasons: a) good reviews on amazon, b) best buy from which? and c) it has bluetooth headphones. The player itself produces excellent sound, I was a little concerned about the headphones compared to the in-ear phones but their sound is very good- I use the bluetooth headphones all the time now. You pay a bit more for them but to have no wires dangling from your head is worth every penny. They do seem a bit fragile but just look after them. The sony software is very good too - I never liked itunes so was hoping it would be an improvement but its simple as drag & drop and works well with the player. Upload is quick as well. This player sounds better than my ipod nano, is easy to use, build quality is good and has wireless headphones. Great mp3 player.

I have owned 3 ipod nanos before this Sony Player and i thought they were the best thing after sliced bread, but after doing lenghy research and finally buying this great music player i think otherwise. Sound Quality is 10/10, Design 10/10, Battery life 10/10, headphone (including bluetooth) 10/10, therefore as you may guess overall 10/10. I have it connected (via bluetooth) to my car, home stereo and headphones i love it! althought the sound quality via bluetooth is very good however the wired headphones sound better than ipods for sure. Just want to say one thing -> Return of the Sony Walkman. All you ipod buyers just check this out if you are after good quality sounding music.
