The stand is great BUT the picture is very decieving. It looks bigger on there than it really is. I have just bought a 42inc hd ready tv and it literally just sits on top of it. Not much space. The picture made it look quiet long but it is,nt.

There was quite a bit of confusion when this arrived - as the packaging states it only takes upto 30". However, i later phoned up the manufacturers (icon distribution) and they told me this is stated for a 30" CRT TV which is very heavy. The stand will take the weight of a 42" plasma, however there will be a bit of an over hang at the sides. My 32" Toshiba fits it perfectly and it looks fantastic. It also has cable management which for the price is brilliant value.

Overall a stand well worth over double the price on amazon. Dont worry about the box labeling this is the perfect stand for any LCD up to 37". Buy one

This is a very nice stand - half way through constructing it I was a little unsure about how good it would look for the £49 that I spent on it but as soon as I stood it the correct way round I could see how good the quality was - very impressed with the overall look of it. Very well packaged (there was a box within the box for the toughened black glass, which looks lovely and the instructions were basic but easy to follow as long as you take a look through all steps before starting to make up the stand. Surprised there are not more reviews for this stand - its a solid unit with very good looks - go for it if your tv is between 26 to 30 inches. Mine is 26 inch and looks perfect on this stand. What else? ... hmmm ... oh yes, there is a fair bit of room on the middle and bottom shelf, you could maybe squeeze 2 consoles on the bottom shelf and a dvd player on the middle one. Hope this helps - there are very few reviews on this item and its just a shame that people may be holding back on this purchase because they know too little about it - take care and enjoy it if you purchase it.

i ordered this and I stupidly assumed it would be ok for my 40" tv, it doesn't state anywhere that it will only handle up to 30" sets until you get it.

Amazon sorted it as per their usual customer service but if you have a big set, ignore this stand as its no good :(
