The Icon Excel 4250 glass TV stand is just what I have been looking for. With my black 42" LCD on top, it looks very stylish. I wanted something to fit all my accessories on and this fits the bill to a "T". I have a full size (16" wide) DVD recorder and the same size DVD home theartre system, aFreesat HD box, a Blueray Player and a Sky box, they all fit on the two lower shelves without looking cluttered. It's great that someone has designed a TV stand with larger equipement in mind. The angleing of the rear corners make it ideal to fit in the corner of the room (the wife's idea), though I would prefer it in the centre of the wall. All in all, a great piece of kit and at the right price too.

tv table review
If you want a stylish, sleek inexpensive TV table - then this purchase is a must. Don't be put off by other reviews -
It is easy to put together - and the look of the table appears more expensive than the cost. I think the black legs look better than other tv tables viewed with silver coloured legs.
If you are looking for a tv table to compliment your new (or old) television then don't hesitate to buy this one - you won't be sorry

Looks great but...
It might be harsh not to score this product a full five stars and I had to think carefully before giving it four. It is a great looking unit that's easy to assemble even for those of us (ie all men) who look at instruction manuals as some kind of challenge to our abilities and disdainfully push them to one side unless we absolutely have to surrender.
Its well packaged, unlike some other glass units I've had delivered in the past and I had absolutely no qualms about placing my 42" LCD on it in terms of weight. It could handle a much heavier screen.
I wouldn't put a larger screen on, though, because it would look unbalanced. The whole thing, for me, is just ever so slightly too small. Another four inches deep and four inches wide and it would be perfect. You could comfortably fit two standard width pieces of AV equipment side by side on the shelf, but the design means that you cannot even overhang anything with depth over the back without comically slanting the thing to a daft looking angle. So it might be great for a DVD player, but not so great for a full size media PC case (that instead comically hangs over the front) or a meaty Amp.
For most people though, I would imagine it would be fine.

Good Customer Service, shame about the product
I received great customer service from the company in order to address problems I had with the TV stand.
On delivery, the top glass shelf had shattered into thousands of pieces and the other glass shelves could have been scratched. The company sent me a replacement glass set, which arrrived promptly.
On construction, I found that the supplied front leg rods were not as required - they were the same at both ends (one was supposed to have a flange) and wouldn't screw into the holes properly. Replacement rods, this time matching the requirements, were supplied.
However, once the unit was put together, there was some lateral movement and looseness of the whole thing, which I would definitely not expect of a TV table designed to support 60 Kg. Luckily, one of the original shelves was not damaged and I was able to add this to the middle shelf, giving a 2-layer thickness in the middle of the unit. This eliminated any looseness, ensured that the unit tightened up and that there could be no further movement.
