easy to set up

came quick and well packaged. Easy to set up and well worth the money. No more thumbling for mobile phone with the blue tooth.

Good Radio

(5 out of 5) by N. Davy on Nov 24, 2009 (Crawley UK)
Bought this mainly for the bluetooth so I could use it as a hands free connection to my phone, for this it is fine, no problems with hearing or being heard during calls. Beats my previous hands free which had to be plugged into the cigarette lighter whenever I used it. The convenience of having hands free built-in cant be emphasised enough

Sound is OK through my Mondeo's speakers

Radio works fine

CD is good especially when using disks of MP3 files, its like having a multi-changer CD unit

Remote control is a bit of a gimic for me, not even sure where I put it in the car.

Havent used the input for an MP3 player as I havent got an MP3 player

Excellent

I am so impressed with this Bluetooth stereo. I purchased it mainly because of its bluetooth facility as I did not have
handsfree in my car. When I first found the Sony MEX-BT2600 on Amazon I was a little bit sceptical as there was no external microphones needed and I was not sure how well a built in microphone would work. But so far it has been excellent! As of yet, I have not had any problems with hearing people and vice versa. The only time it seemed that it did not work as well as usual was when I spoke to someone who were also on a handsfree set, but it was still working OK.

Answering a call is just a case of pressing a button on the stereo and the same goes for ending the call. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that you can not dial another number from the unit and there is no access to your phone directory, so to dial a new number you need to stop and dial/voicedial from your phone. You can however redial last number called by pressing and holding the "call Button" which is very useful!

I can thoroughly recommend this to anyone who is thinking of adding handsfree to their car but are unsure of the work and cost involved when having to install microphones etc. And as with all Sony products, the sound of the audio is also very good.

Fantastic Value for Money!!

Quite simply, I cannot believe the quality for the price. The Bluetooth telephone connection is as good as the factory fit in a high end german car ;) and the audio streaming works a treat.

Easy to install and easy use, winner!

Good product

Good quality build as you would expect from Sony. However have had some difficulty in keeping my 02 XDA Orbit 2 connected. It paired up fine but seem to loose connection. However this could be an issue with the phone itself. The quality of the microphone isn't that great as people have said conversations weren't that clear. However it does its job considering it is built into the unit.
