I've had this camera for about 6 months. Haven't had to recharge the battery once yet!

Takes very good daytime pictures - even in the recent snow. I have found the pictures slightly less reliable when taking night scenes, they look a bit gaudy and false so to speak.

Otherwise a magnificent camera - I would recommend to anyone looking for a good point and shoot.

We both thought the Canon IXUS 80 excellent from the very start.
However on Boxing Day the lens jammed in the out position and then jammed in the in position. Amazon changed the camera without any fuss at all. The replacement seems fine and is taking excellent pics.

Bought this camera in pink which is subtle and yet delightful. This camera is so easy to use. It is very slimline and compact which I love. I also bought the Cannon IXUS hard leather case which keeps it safe and free from scratches. The Zoom feature on this camera is great and it automatically adjusts itself when taking a picture with people in the shot so that their faces are centre of the picture, which I love. The battery lasts a long time also. What I really love is how fast is takes a picture especially if you are taking one of an animal or a baby as usually they don't always hold still or pose for a photo. Would recommend this Canon without fail (especially in pink).

This is a great value quality camera that is lightweight, compact and takes a great picture even if you are a complete amateur like me. Highly recommended and I love the pink. Batteries last a long time and are rechargable. Picture display is excellent.

Bought the camera for my wife who is a self confessed technophobe but she was an expert in minutes and has managed some fantastic pictures. It has an exceptional battery life, a build quality and features that one would expect on a more expensive model but most importantly, produces fantastic pictures. In short brilliance in a box which I would highly recommend
